A founding member of LMA Systems with over 20 years
of experience in career counseling, business consulting, outplacement
and performance training, Barry Davis is uniquely qualified to lead
LMA Consulting Group's Career Services division. Under his
guidance, LMA has designed and implemented career and personal
development programs for over 1,500 clients.
Barry's expertise in human behavior and experience in
business consulting makes him a versatile team member. His
consultations include planning and preparing with leadership prior to
reduction in force announcements, designing and delivering
personalized services for career continuation as well as providing ongoing support to the
organization and individual through the project.
Barry also collaborates with organizations in personnel
development, helping them ensure that the right people are in the
right positions for maximum performance and satisfaction.
Through extensive research and collaboration with assessment
organizations including the Institute for Personality and Ability
Testing (IPAT), Consulting Psychologists' Press, Hogan Assessments, and Reid London House,
Barry has developed a deeper understanding of the potential fit
between the position and the person. His specialized assessment
reports provide both organizations and individuals with targeted
feedback for personal growth and professional development.
Barry developed LMA's Career Online, LMA's specialized
Internet site for career clients. Career Online enhances LMA's
work with clients throughout the U.S. and provides these individuals
with 24/7 access to both information and support.
Barry Davis holds a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology
from Millersville University and has continued his professional
development training in assessment, counseling and related areas.
He was awarded the designation of Certified Talent Consultant (CTC)
after successfully completing advanced 16PFâ
training
in Leadership and Succession Planning through IPAT. Barry is also
designated as a Master Career Development Professional (MCDP) by the
National Career Development Association.
