Beth Mansfield-Griswold, Ph.D.

Dr. Beth Mansfield-Griswold joined LMA Consulting Group in 2007. With over nine years of professional experience as a counseling psychologist, she has expertise in counseling, consulting and crisis interventions. She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, and colleges and universities.
Helping people achieve a more satisfying work-life balance is one of Beth's passions. She faciliated a series of "Balancing Work and Family" training programs for educational institutions, corporate clients and the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce.
Using her market research experience, Beth has worked with organizational leaders with concerns about their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. At LMA, she has conducted focus group projects, one with employee groups in a healthcare insitutiton and another with human resource professionals, and provided recommendations about employee retention strategies and technology product enhancements. She has also developed a customer satisfaction survey to help organizations understand and strenghten their position in the marketplace.
At LMA, she serves on the Crisis Response Team, provides consultation to organizations in transition and offers career counseling. Her training programs include Positive Assertiveness, Conflict Management, Listening/Communication Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Working Smarter-Not Longer and Business Ethics. She is trained in administering and interpreting a variety of career, psychological and organizational assessments.
As an undergraduate, Beth earned a B.A. from Cornell University. She then completed her M.S. in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, she completed a year of coursework in the Organizational Behavior program in the Kellogg School of Management. She is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania.
