Effective Conflict Management
It's important for supervisors to be able to handle conflict. This program builds on the theme that conflict is a part of doing business and that each employee must be able to handle conflict in a positive manner.

-Five steps to resolving conflict: participants will learn the proper technique for dealing with conflict - take responsibility, uncover the real problem, ask questions and listen, develop goals / action plan and follow-up.
-Communication skill building: participants will learn the skill of using "I" messages in dealing with conflict.
-Modes of dealing with conflict: participants will learn the different methods of dealing with conflict - competing, accommodating, avoiding, collaborating and compromising.
